Removing

Remove engine
Note:
^
All cable ties which are opened or cut open on removal must be replaced in same position when installing.

Any heat insulation sleeves which are taken off when removing must be re-attached in same position when installing.

Place engine/transmission assembly on work bench or engine/transmission stand. Support/secure engine and transmission with pieces of squared
timber.
WARNING: Engine/transmission assembly must be securely supported to avoid risk of accident

Unplug connectors for left oxygen sensors before and after catalytic converter.

Move pipes and hoses clear.

Unbolt left front exhaust pipe from turbocharger (arrows).
-
Remove bolt -1- and loosen bolt -2- a few turns.
-
Pull out guide tube -3- with oil dipstick.
