Remove exhaust gas temperature sensor -3-.

-

Unscrew nuts -1-.

Note:  Item -2- remains installed.

Unscrew nuts -1- to -12- and remove left exhaust manifold.

Installing 

Install in reverse sequence; note following points:

Always replace gaskets, seals and self-locking nuts.

Any heat insulation sleeves which are taken off when removing must be re-attached in same position when installing.

All cable ties which are opened or cut open on removal must be replaced in same position when installing.

Remove any traces of oil or grease on hose connections and hoses for charge air system before installing. Do not apply lubricant.

Secure all hose connections with correct hose clamps., Refer to Parts Supplier.

Tighten exhaust manifold nuts diagonally starting from center.

Install temperature sensor for exhaust temperature sensor so that connection piece points downward. The wire is routed upward in a loop.

-

Replace O-ring on dipstick guide tube.

-

Install left turbocharger and align.

-

Install front left exhaust pipe.

-

Install engine.
