Bleeding Sequence For Vehicles With Electronic Stabilization Program (Esp 5.7)

Bleeding sequence for vehicles with Electronic stabilization program (ESP 5.7) 

Unlike ESP 5.3, ESP 5.7 does not incorporate hydraulic pump for traction control -V156-. It is not necessary to bleed the system with the diagnostic
tester.

Please note: 

A pressure of at least 2 bar is required for bleeding the hydraulic unit. Always check the pressure setting on the bleeding device.
Use the brake pedal depressor when installing brake system components, and bleed the system afterward.

Special tools, testers, measuring instruments and auxiliary items required

VAS 5234 Brake filler and bleeder unit

Bleeding brake system with VAS 5234 brake filler and bleeder unit 
Follow the operating instructions for VAS 5234.

Connect VAS 5234.

Open bleeder screws in the specified order and bleed brake calipers (assist as required with pedal pressure).

Bleeding sequence 
1. Right-front brake caliper
2. Left-front brake caliper
3. Right-rear brake caliper
4. Left-rear brake caliper

Bleed until brake fluid escapes free of bubble and foam.

Close bleed screw.
