Cabin Air Filter: Service and Repair
Dust And Pollen Filter Element, Removing And Installing

Remove plenum chamber cover.

Release catches on tab -A- and fold back tab.

Remove dust and pollen filter element from housing.
NOTE:

To prevent water from entering the dust and pollen filter or the intake duct, make sure that the plenum chamber cover and cowl panel trim are
installed correctly.

The dust and pollen filter element should be replaced at regular intervals.

The dust and pollen filter element must be installed correctly in frame -C-. Arrows -B- indicate the direction of air flow.

With additional element of active carbon (combination filter)

On vehicle until or from October 1998 there are different versions of the dust and pollen filter and housing (with or without active-carbon-filter
element) (different sizes).
