EGR Temperature Sensor: Service and Repair

Exhaust gas temperature sensor, removing and installing 
Removing 

Note:  All cable ties which are released or cut open when removing must be installed in same position when installing.

Remove engine

-

Unplug connector for exhaust gas temperature sensor.

-

Move line to exhaust gas temperature sensor clear.

-

Remove temperature sensor of exhaust gas temperature sensor -3-.

Note:

Illustration shows left temperature sensor.

Items -I- and -2- remain installed.

Installing 

Install in reverse sequence; note following points:

Note:  All cable ties which are released or cut open when removing must be installed in same position when installing.

Connection of temperature sensor for exhaust gas temperature sensor must face downward when installing. Guide line upward in a loop.

Install engine1

Tightening torque
