Rear Window, Installing

When installing new rear window, clean and prime adhesive surface as previously described for installing windshield.

-

When reusing an old, undamaged rear window, apply adhesive directly on old adhesive bead after cutting back remaining material.

Glue spacer onto window flange at top or onto rear window at bottom.

-

Note different spacers used for insulating glass and standard glass.

Observe mounting marks on rear window and cover strip.

Glue on adhesive stopper profile - 2 - at distance - a - = 10 mm (0.394 in.) from rear window seal - 1 -.

Glue spacers onto rear window according to markings.

Pay attention to different heights for insulating glass and standard glass.

NOTE:  Any adhesive sealing material emerging at the lower edge of the rear window when inserting the window into the window opening must be
removed immediately.
