Satellite Radio R146 - Sedan, Removing And Installing

NOTE:  Should the satellite radio unit require replacement, follow applicable component "Replacement" procedure using VAS 5051/5051 in operating
mode "Guided Fault Finding"

CAUTION:

-

Switch off all electrical consumers.

-

Switch ignition off and remove ignition key.

Removing:

-

Remove sub compartment behind left luggage compartment trim.

Satellite Radio - 1 - slides/locks into adapter plate - 2 - mounted to rear of sub compartment - 3 -.

-

Disconnect electrical connections at satellite radio.
Adapter plate does not need to be removed.

-

Depress both locking catches on adapter plate - 2 - in direction of - arrows -.

-

Slide out and remove satellite radio - 1 - from adapter plate - 2 -.

Installing:

-

Install in reverse order of removal.

-

Activate Satellite Radio R146.
