Procedure is valid only for vehicles that show the IB code in the OTIS View Campaign inquiry screen on the day of repair (see Page 5 shown).

Vehicle must be within the Limited New Vehicle Warranty.

Procedure must be performed within the allotted time frame stated in this Technical Bulletin.

Procedure must also be performed on applicable vehicles in Dealer inventory.

After coding the after-run coolant pump -V51 - to operate as designed, the after-run coolant pump -V51- may run up to 15 minutes when signaled by the
ECM (only if the coolant temperature is above 112°C when the ignition is switched off).

After-run coolant pump V51, activating:

Connect VAS 5051/ 5052 Diagnostic tool.

From VAS 5051/5052 start up screen, select "Vehicle self diagnosis".

Select vehicle system "01 - Engine Electronics".
