Thermostat, Removing and Installing

Thermostat, removing and installing

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Seal installer 3265

Removing
-

Drain engine coolant

-

Disconnect coolant hoses at coolant thermostat housing.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove coolant thermostat housing.

-

Press down retaining bracket using seal installer 3265 and rotate approximately 180° (one half rotation) - arrow -.

Installing
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Always replace seals.

Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type

Clean and smooth sealing surface.

Install coolant thermostat.
