Rocker Arm Assembly: Service and Repair

Roller-type rocker finger, removing and installing

Removing
-

Remove engine

-

Remove camshaft timing chains from camshafts

-

Remove camshafts

-

Mark allocation of roller-type rocker finger and shafts for roller-type rocker finger for reinstallation.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Thread a M6-bolt into hole in shaft for roller-type rocker finger.

-

Remove shaft from cylinder head and remove roller-type rocker finger.

Installing 
Installation is performed in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

Note:  Replace O-rings.

Lubricate bearing areas of roller-type rocker finger with oil before installation.
Install camshafts
Install camshaft timing chains.
Install engine

Tightening torque
