Checking internal resistance

Connect multimeter to valve to Exhaust Flap Valve 1 -N321- for resistance measurement.

-

Specified value: 22 to 30.

If specified value is not obtained:

-

Replace Exhaust Flap Valve 1 -N321-.

If specified value is obtained:

-

Check voltage supply.

Checking voltage supply

Connect multimeter to terminal - 1 - and Ground (GND) for voltage measurement.

-

Start engine.

-

Specified value: Approx. battery voltage

If specified value is not obtained:

-

Check wiring connection of harness connector terminal 1 for open circuit according to wiring diagram. Repair wiring connection if necessary.

If specified value is obtained:

-

Check activation.

Connect voltage tester V.A.G 1527 B between terminals - 1 - and - 2 -.
