8. Locking ring

Use ring nut spanner 3087 to remove and install

Tighten to 120 Nm

9. Seal

To install, place into opening of fuel tank when dry

10. Connector flange

Not individually replaceable

Installation position: Note arrow marking

11. Fuel pump (FP) unit

Can be replaced only complete with connector flange

Fuel Pump (FP) electrical testing

Checking delivery quantity

Checking residual pressure

12. O-rings

Always replace

Check installation position

13. Fuel return line

-

To remove the Fuel Pump (FP), unclip union piece and disconnect fuel return line at union piece -item 1-, press release button to do so

14. Fuel screen

-

Not individually replaceable

-

Clean if dirty

To disconnect the multi-pin harness connector at Fuel Pump (FP) -G6-, the harness connector must be released. This can be done by hand or by
using a small screwdriver -arrow-.
