Remove heat shield - A - for driveshaft - arrows -.
-
Remove bolts at flange of transmission/driveshaft.

Push driveshaft toward rear final drive. Constant velocity joints can be adjusted axially.

Tie up driveshaft to body.

Place punch of engine/transmission jack V.A.G 1383 A centrally on housing casing - arrow - and support transmission from below.
CAUTION: The lock carrier must be installed.

Remove bolts - 2 - and - 3 - and then mounting bolts - 1 - and - 4 - of subframe.
