NOTE:  If the throttle position sensor or engine control module are replaced in vehicles with automatic transmission, the kickdown function must be
adapted.

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 A with diagnostic cable VAS 5051/5A

Test conditions

-

Vehicle Diagnostic, Testing and Information System VAS 5051 A connected, On-board diagnostics and vehicle system "01 Engine electronics"
selected.

-

Engine not running, ignition switched on.

-

No faults in DTC memory.
