Disconnect electrical connection - 2 -.

-

Remove screws - 1 - and - 3 - (1 Nm).

-

Pull switch unit - 4 - out of airbag module in direction of arrow.

Installing:

-

Install in reverse order of removal, noting the following.

-

Ensure all connectors are engaged and that wires are positioned in guides provided.

Multi-function roller switch modules, removing and installing

NOTE:  Procedure for left and right switches is the same.

Removing:

-

On vehicles with telematics system, switch off Emergency Battery (Telematics) A16 for Telephone/Telematics Control Module J526.

-

Disconnect battery.

CAUTION:  Special safety precautions apply to vehicles equipped with airbags. Heed all WARNINGS pertaining to airbag servicing.

Remove drivers airbag unit.

-

Disconnect electrical connection - 1 - at roller switch - 2 -.

-

Slide roller switch - 2 - in direction of - arrow - and remove from steering wheel.
