Remove rivet - 2 -.

Separate sewn seam - 3 - on torn off mounting strap and remove "old strap".

Lay mounting strap from repair kit flush on convertible top headliner -  arrows - and sew with a double seam.

‹› Before sewing, ensure strap is positioned correctly on headliner to avoid a twisted seam.

Secure strap to convertible top frame with accompanying rivet -  arrow -.
