Remove the retaining springs - arrows -.

Before pressing the piston back, extract some brake fluid from the reservoir using a bleeder bottle. Otherwise fluid will overflow and cause damage if
the reservoir was topped off during repair work.

Press the brake pads away from the brake rotor and then remove from the brake caliper housing.

Installing

Before inserting new brake pads, press the piston back into the cylinder using the piston resetting tool. Before pressing the piston back, extract some 
brake fluid from the reservoir with a bleeder bottle. Otherwise fluid will overflow and cause damage if the reservoir was topped off during repair
work.

Press the piston back into the caliper housing.

Insert the brake pads in the brake caliper housing.

‹› Brake pads are directional and specific to each vehicle side. Observe markings on dampening sheet.
