Always replace both sides

Do not disconnect brake hose when changing brake pads

To change brake pads, only remove lower brake caliper bolt, item 2, and fold caliper up.

Checking brake pad thickness: 803
5 - Brake pad retaining spring

Always replace when changing pads
6 - Wheel bolts
^
Mount wheels.
7 - Torx bolt
^
Torque specification 5 Nm
8 - Brake disc
^
Always replace both sides
^
Remove brake caliper prior to removing
^
Coat contact surfaces between brake disc and wheel hub with Polycarbamide grease G 052 142 A2.

Ensure sufficient wear limit
9 - Hex socket heat screw, 75 Nm
^

Always replace
10 - Brake carrier with guide pins and protective cap
^
Supplied as replacement part assembled with sufficient grease on guide pins
^
If protective caps or guide pins are damaged use repair kit. Use supplied grease packet to lubricate guide pins.
11 - Banjo bolt, 45 Nm
12 - Brake line with banjo fitting

Hose must be installed free of twists
^
To replace brake pads, unfasten from brake carrier
^
Do not disconnect brake hose when changing brake pads
^
Brake caliper, servicing
