Coolant Thermostat

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Fitting sleeve (3265)

Removing

-

Drain the coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Service and Repair/Procedures. 

-

Disconnect coolant hoses at coolant regulator housing.

-

Remove bolts - arrows -.

-

Remove coolant regulator housing.

-

Press down retaining bracket using seal installer (3265) and rotate approximately 180° (one half rotation) -  arrow -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Replace seals.

‹› Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.
