Left camshaft timing chain

Note:

Before removing timing chain, mark direction of travel with paint. Reversing the rotation direction of a used chain can destroy it.

1 - Pivot pin - 10 Nm

2 - 5 Nm plus an additional 1/4 turn (90 degrees)

3 - Washer

Note installation position

4 - Camshaft bolt

Replace

^

Initial tightening torque: 40 Nm

^

Final tightening torque: 100 Nm plus an additional 1/4 turn (90 degrees)

5 - Chain sprocket
