Leak Detection Pump: Service and Repair

Leak Detection Pump

Removing

‹› All cable ties which are opened or cut open when removing, must be replaced in the same position when installing.

-

Remove left rear wheel.

-

Remove left rear wheel housing liner.

-

Remove nuts - arrows -.

-

Disengage diagnostic pump with bracket.

-

Separate the electrical connector - 3 - with ignition switched off.

-

Disconnect hose coupling - 4 - by pressing release button.

-

Cut the cable ties - 1 - and disconnect the hose -  2 -.

Installing

Installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:

‹› Secure all hose connections using hose clamps appropriate for the model type.

‹› During installation, the cable ties must be re-installed at the same location.

Secure hose - 2 - to bracket of leak detection pump with cable tie - 1 -.
