Pull plastic securing spring - 2 - slightly to front and push pin - 3 - upward only as far as necessary -  arrow -.

‹› Make sure that pin is not pushed fully out.

Remove selector lever cable - 4 - from shift mechanism. 

‹› Take care not to bend or kink selector lever cable.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Install new securing clasp - 1 - for selector lever cable to shift mechanism.

‹› Installation position: The angled end of the securing clasp faces toward the inside of the shift mechanism.

Insert the end of the selector lever cable - 4 - into the joint of the selector lever.

Press pin - 3 - downward - arrow -. 

-

Check whether plastic securing spring - 2 - has locked the pin.

Bolt lower cover securely to shift mechanism - arrows -. 

-

Attach the selector lever cable boot into the lower cover under the selector mechanism.
