Remove bolts - 1 - and - 2 - and lower subframe toward the rear.

Remove left transmission support. Refer to => [ Left and Right Transmission Mount and Transmission Support ] See: Transmission Mount/Service
and Repair.

Press selector lever cable ball joint - 1 - off from selector shaft lever.

-

Remove mounting bracket on the transmission - arrows -. 

‹› Take care not to bend or kink selector lever cable.

-

Remove heat shield under the selector mechanism, if equipped.

-

Remove selector lever cable retaining clip - 1 - sideways.
