Front Door Window Regulator: Testing and Inspection

Window Regulator Basic Setting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Caliper

‹› Steel ruler

‹› When removing regulator or working with extreme adjusted values, it is necessary to perform a window regulator basic setting. The door trim,

window regulator motor, speaker and door insulation are removed for this.

Window tension, checking

‹› Close convertible top.

Open door.

-

Raise window (window is in short lift).

-

Close door until upper edge of window touches side window seal -  arrow -.

-

Measure gap between side window and inner edge of door window with steel ruler.

‹› Specified dimension - a - = 6-8 mm.
