Trunk / Liftgate Handle: Service and Repair

Removing
-
Remove lock cylinder for rear lid => [ Rear Lid Lock Cylinder, Avant ] See: Trunk / Liftgate Lock Cylinder/Service and Repair.

Disconnect inner electrical harness connector at grip piece.

Remove nuts (Qty. 4)- 1 - and - 2 - (different versions; mark for re-installation).

Tightening torque: 8 Nm

Press both catches - arrows - down and remove grip piece - 3 -.
Installing
Installation is performed in the reverse order of removal.
