D-pillar trim

‹› Removal:

-

Remove roof panel trim => [ Roof Panel Trim, Removing and Installing ].

-

Remove bolt - 3 - by sliding covering plate in eyelets to the rear => [ Partition grille lifting eyes, loosening ].

-

Release only the rear edge of luggage compartment side trim => [ Luggage Compartment Side Trim ].

-

Unclip D-pillar trim - 1 - from top downward.

-

Remove D-pillar trim upward out of luggage compartment side trim. 

-

Remove D-pillar trim to the rear from trim - 4 - above rear door.

-

Remove bolts for head-level airbag in rear area => [ Side Curtain Airbag, Avant ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Side Curtain Airbag, Servicing.

-

Remove the bolts - 6 -.

-

Remove trim - 5 - above rear side window.

‹› Installing:

To install, perform the steps used in removal in reverse order. Observe the following when doing so:

-

Secure head-level airbag with new bolts => [ Side Curtain Airbag, Avant ] See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Air Bag/Service and
Repair/Removal and Replacement/Side Curtain Airbag, Servicing.
