Seat Heating Element, Standard Seat, Removing and Installing

Removing

-

Remove seat: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Power Front Memory Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Power Front
Memory Seats, From November 2004.

Remove backrest: vehicles from November 2004 => [ Backrest, Standard Front Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Standard Front Seat, From November 2004.

Remove cover and padding from seat pan. Refer to => [ Seat Pan Cover and Cushion, Standard Seat ] See: Service and Repair/Overhaul/Seats -
Upholstery, Covers/Front Seat Covers and Cushion, Power Memory Seats/Seat Pan Cover and Cushion, Standard Seat.

Cut wire - 2 - off of old heating element -  1 -.

Installing

-

Align heating element - 1 - on seat surface, remove protective foil and glue heating element to cushion.

Insert electrical wire - 2 - into gap - 3  -.

Lay wire connections without crossing into bottom of openings at positions - 4 -.
