Apply dia. 4 mm of adhesive D 476 KD 9 as shown over entire width of spoiler.

-

Set spoiler on center of rear lid.

Firmly press top and bottom of spoiler onto rear lid in stages, starting at center and moving outward, in area of adhesive bands.

Adhesive sealing material

‹› Bead diameter 4 mm.

‹› Apply adhesive as shown between both outer positioning holes over entire width.

Adhesive tape

‹› Before applying adhesive, remove backing paper from adhesive strips.

Spoiler

‹› Remove rear lid trim before removing

-

Remove bolts - 4 -.

-

Heat adhesion area on lid using hot air gun ( V.A.G 1416). 

‹› Pull spoiler from lid upward and off.

‹› Before assembling a spoiler, clean adhesion area on lid with cleaning solution D 009 401 04.
