Do not press the brake pedal again once test has been activated.

The brake system vacuum pump (V192) supplies vacuum to the brake booster. The diagnosis of the brake booster system runs in the control module at
the same time.

The system passes the test if the pressure in the brake booster reaches the shutoff threshold within the time limit set by the diagnostic function.

The system fails the test if pressure in brake booster does not reach the shutoff threshold within time limit set by the diagnostic function.

Follow the "Guided Fault Finding" procedure using vehicle diagnostic, testing and information system (VAS 5051 ).
