‹› Observe disposal of pyrotechnic airbag units.

Installing

CAUTION!
Battery Interrupt Igniters (-N253) are pyrotechnic components. The same safety measures apply as with airbags. Observe safety
precautions for work on airbags.

Installation is reverse of removal, but note the following:

When connecting electrical connector, ensure it engages securely and locking mechanism is OK.

Follow the specified tightening specifications.

Switch on ignition.

CAUTION!
No one should be in vehicle when connecting battery.

Follow measures after connecting battery.

-

To complete, check DTC memory for airbag control module using. Refer to and perform the required work steps if necessary.
