Passenger Occupant Detection System, Measures Required after an Accident

‹› Each time the airbag and/or front passenger's belt tensioner is deployed, a RE-ZERO procedure must be performed on the seat occupied

recognition control module.

‹› If seat rails and/or seat pan is replaced due to deformations resulting from a crash, the seat occupied recognition system must be replaced by the

seat occupied recognition service kit. Then, basic setting as well as a RE-ZERO procedure must be performed on the seat occupied recognition
control module.
