Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Torque Wrench (V.A.G 1332)

‹› Measure vehicle after repair. Refer to => [ Wheel Alignment ] See: Alignment/Service and Repair/Wheel Alignment.

Removing

-

Dismount tire.

-

Remove coil spring. Refer to => [ Coil Spring ] See: Suspension/Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf )/Service and Repair.

Remove threaded connections - 1 - and - 2  - and remove tie rod.

Installing

‹› Replace bolts and self-locking nuts. Notes in exploded view diagrams. Refer to => [ Subframe ] See: Suspension/Description and Operation/Rear

Suspension/FWD.

-

First tighten threaded connections nuts - 1 - and -  2 - only to 20 Nm.

Install coil spring. Refer to => [ Coil Spring ] See: Suspension/Suspension Spring ( Coil / Leaf )/Service and Repair.
