Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Drip tray (V.A.G 1306)

‹› Puller (T10037)

Removing

‹› Transmission installed.

-

Remove heat shield - arrow - over the left drive axle from the transmission.

-

Remove left drive axle from transmission flange and tie up.

-

Place drip tray (V.A.G 1306) underneath transmission.

-

Remove bolts - arrows - on left flange shaft retaining plate.

-

Tighten Puller (T10037) on differential cover - arrow -.
