Pull left flange shaft using puller (T10037) only far enough out until bearing on shaft is pulled out of transmission housing.

CAUTION!
If you do not keep the shaft centered, the splines of the shaft will fall against the inner shaft seal between final drive and transmission
housing. The shaft seal will be damaged and will have to be replaced. Refer to => [ Final Drive/Transmission Housing Shaft Seal,

Pull flange shaft - A - out of transmission while holding shaft centered on differential opening - arrow -.

Installing

Install in reverse order, paying attention to the following:

Clean flange shaft.

Insert flange shaft - A - into transmission and guide the shaft into seal of differential - arrow -, keeping the shaft centered.
