Selector Lever Cable, Bringing into Basic Setting

Special tools, testers and auxiliary items required

‹› Socket and key (T40031)

Procedure

Remove cover for shift mechanism. Refer to => [ Selector Mechanism Cover ] See: Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/09LA Transmission/Selector Mechanism Cover.

Place selector lever in position "D".

‹› Before performing basic setting, make sure that the clamping screw is tightened. It is accessible through the hole in shift mechanism in position "

D" using socket and key (T40031).

In this position, tighten clamping screw with the socket and key (T40031).

Place selector lever in position "P".

Remove the mounting bracket on the transmission - arrows  -.
