Fill area between sealing lip and dust lip halfway with Sealing Grease (G 052 128 A1).

Lightly oil outer circumference of seal.

Install the sealing ring - arrow - into the housing up to the stop.

Mount the transmission shift lever - 2 - and tighten the nut - 1 -. Tightening specification => [ (Item 6) Nut - 20 Nm ] See: Shifter M/T/Service and
