Installing

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

-

Bolt wiper motor without crank onto wiper frame - arrows  -.

-

Connect electrical connector to wiper motor.

-

Insert wiper motor with wiper frame and lightly tighten screws. 

-

Press wiper linkage into stop opposite the - direction of arrow - and tighten screw - 3 -.

-

Tighten screw - 2 - and the screw - 1 -. 

-

Activate "one-touch wiping" and let wiper motor run to end position.

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Align crank - 1 - toward wiper frame.

‹› alpha = 2°.

-

Keep crank in position and hand-tighten nut - 2 - in order to maintain this position.

-

Then, hold crank in position using an open-end wrench and tighten nut.

-

Switch on ignition.

-

Activate "one-touch wiping" and let wiper motor run to end position.
