Hands-Free Microphone and Speaker, Removing and Installing

Microphone

The hands-free microphone is located behind the left A-pillar interior trim piece (arrow).

Remove left A-pillar trim -2-.

-

Unplug wire connector from microphone -1-.

-

Remove two microphone securing screws.

-

Remove microphone from A-pillar trim.

Install in reverse order of removal.

Speaker (S4)

The hands-free speaker is located in the upper right portion of the dashboard.

Carefully pry up speaker cover at (arrow).

-

Remove speaker and disconnect wiring connections. 

Install in reverse order of removal.

Speaker (100S, 100CS)

The hands free speaker is located in the center console.
