Radio, Removing and Installing

Radio, removing and installing 

Removing

-

Obtain radio security code.

-

Disconnect battery ground strap.

-

Insert radio removal clips VW 160 into radio as shown.

-

Spread clips outward while pulling until radio slides from console.

-

Remove radio connectors and remove radio. 

Installing

-

Remove clips VW 160 from radio.

-

Reconnect radio connectors.

-

Carefully slide radio into console until rubber bumper on rear of radio fully engages holder.

-

Radio must clip into place
