Sunroof Drive Cables, Removing and Installing

Sunroof drive cables, removing and installing

Removing 

- 

Remove front trim panel. Insert small screwdriver between panel and headliner frame. Slide screwdriver forward to depress front clip. Repeat on
other side.

CAUTION!  Plastic fingers at rear corners can break if cover is not pulled forward.

- 

Unplug electrical connectors and remove trim panel.

- 

Unscrew screws (arrows) and remove sliding roof motor.

CAUTION!  Only install sliding root motor with roof closed, Le. with cable drive and sliding root motor in zero position.

Tightening torque: 3.0 Nm (27 in lb)
