Pressure sensor terminal number 3 to VAG 1598 test box socket number 30.

Must be 1.0 ohm maximum.

Repair open or short circuits as necessary, using wiring diagram.

Connect VAG 1598/5 adapter cable to ECM.

Switch ignition ON.
-
Connect Fluke 83 multimeter, in turn, between:
a Terminals 12 and 30.

Must be 4.5-5.5 volts.
b Terminals 9 and 30.
^
Must be 4.5-5.5 volts.
If NO:
-
Replace ECM
To erase the default pressure value:
-
Switch ignition OFF.
-
Disconnect circuit breaker -S64- for 30 seconds (red holder, position -3-, 5 amp rating).
