Remove steering gear mounting bolt on right side.
Remove both mounting bolts for automatic seat belt tensioning cable bracket on right side and push bracket down out of way.

Loosen instrument panel wiring harness cable tie.

Remove steering gear from mounting bracket as shown.
Guide wiring harness around steering gear to back.

Turn steering gear appropriately and remove through right wheel housing (requires two technicians).

CAUTION:  While removing, make sure the instrument panel seal, the steering gear boot, the teeth on steering gear pinion and the A/C refrigerant
hose are not damaged.

Installing

Install steering gear through hole in right wheel housing (two technicians), ensure correct position of wiring harness.
