Clutch Slave Cylinder: Service and Repair

The slave cylinder must be installed on the transmission housing in the approximate direction of operation of the pushrod, without any major lateral
deviation.

CAUTION:  If the slave cylinder is twisted, there is a risk that the push- rod will not connect with the clutch release lever.

Note:
To aid installation, engage 4th gear before installing the slave cylinder.
Pre-load the slave cylinder just far enough to install the securing bolt Always replace the securing bolt
