Microphone Unit in Front Roof Module

The Microphone Unit (in front roof module) (R164) located in the Front Interior Light (W1) can be replaced only as a complete unit.

-

Turn off all electrical consumers.

-

Remove ignition key.

Removing

-

Remove the Front Interior Light (W1).

-

Unclip harness connector - 5 - from retainer in Front Interior Light (W1) and disconnect harness connector. 

-

Pry the individual microphones - 1 -, - 3 - and - 4 - out of the retainer.

Installing

-

Install in reverse order.
