Body Control Module: Service and Repair

Comfort System Central Control Module

Removing

-

If the control module was replaced, select the "Replace" function for the respective control module in Guided Fault Finding.

-

Select the function or path:

-

Follow further instructions on display of (VAS 5051B).

Open the luggage compartment right side trim.

-

Release the retaining clips - arrows - and remove the Comfort System Central Control Module (J393) - item 7 - from the retaining frame.

-

Carefully disconnect the electrical connector - 4 - and - 6 - and the antenna connector - 3 -.

-

Disconnect the connectors - 1, 2 and 5 -.

-

To disconnect electrical connector, press catch - 1 -, turn retaining bracket in - direction of arrow - and remove connector.
