Remove assembly device.

Place Pull Sleeve (T40048/2) on the crankshaft and slide the shaft seal - 1 - into the sealing surface on the cylinder block.

‹› Leave the pull sleeve for pressing onto the crankshaft.

Position the Pull Sleeve (T40048/3) on the crankshaft with 2 M8x55 mm bolts - arrows -.

Install bolts by hand.

Tighten bolts 1/2 turn each, alternating sides, to press the shaft seal in as far as the stop.

The rest of the installation is in reverse order of removal, note the following:
