‹› Hand drill with plastic brush attachment

‹› Protective eyewear

‹› Sealant

Removing

-

Drain coolant. Refer to => [ Cooling System, Draining and Filling ] See: Cooling System/Service and Repair/Procedures.

Remove the right front muffler. Refer to => [ Front Muffler ] See: Exhaust System/Muffler/Service and Repair/Front Muffler.

Remove the strut tower brace.

-

Remove the engine compartment bulkhead.

-

Remove the heated oxygen sensor (HO2S) (G39).

-

Remove electrical connectors from bracket and disconnect:

For Oxygen Sensor (O) Behind Three Way Catalytic Converter (TWO) (G130)

‹› Ignore - 1, 3 and 4 -.

‹› The installation location is shown with the engine removed.

Remove the nuts - arrows -, the bolt - 1 - and the right catalytic converter and lay it aside.
