Left Retaining Plate with Footwell Door Motor

The Footwell Door Motor (V261) is installed on vehicles equipped with the "Basis" A/C system

‹› The mounting plate with the Footwell Door Motor (V261) is installed only on vehicles equipped with the "Basis " A/C system.

‹› On this vehicle, all control motors are currently identical. During the basic adjustment, the control motors are assigned and adapted corresponding

to the switching sequence of the wiring. If this sequence does not conform the specification, the control motors will adapt incorrectly and the door
control will be wrong. Refer to => [ Climatronic Control Module ] See: Description and Operation/A/C System Control.

‹› Depending on the production date, there are different versions of the levers and connections on the A/C unit. Refer to => [ Air Conditioner Levers

] See: Description and Operation/A/C System Control .

Removing

-

Move the driver seat as far back as possible.

-

Switch off ignition.

-

Remove the storage compartment under the dash panel on the driver's side.

-

Remove the left footwell (driver side). Refer to => [ Left Footwell Door Motor ]  See: Left Footwell Door Motor

Remove the accelerator pedal module.

-

Mark the connector - A - (to the Defroster Door Motor (V107)) and - B - (Footwell Door Motor (V261)) and - C - (Temperature Regulator Door
Motor (V68)) (to prevent confusion).

Disconnect the connector - A - , - B - and - C -.

-

Loosen the wiring harness - D - from the mounting points on the mounting plate - E -.

-

Carefully disconnect the connector rods - A -, - B - and - C - from the levers on each door.
