Tail Lamp: Service and Repair

Outer Tail Lamp

Removing

-

Switch off ignition and remove ignition key.

-

Turn light switch into "0" position.

-

Open the luggage compartment side trim cover.

-

Remove the threaded pins - 2 -.

-

Pivot the tail lamp - 1 - outward - arrow - and disengage retaining pins from the body.

-

Disconnect the electrical connector.

Installing

‹› Tightening specification, refer to => [ Fastener Tightening Specifications ] See: Specifications. 

Install in reverse order of removal, observing the following:

‹› The self-adhesive seal on the tail lamp housing must seal correctly.

Position the tail lamp on the body and press the retaining pins into the holes.

-

Tighten the threaded pins.
