The tab on the air filter element - 1 - must align with the tab on the air filter housing - 2 -.

Set the upper section of air filter housing onto lower section of air filter housing, without using much force.

‹› Make sure the air filter housing upper section is installed correctly into the groove in the lower section before tightening the bolts.

Then, fasten the upper section of air filter housing to lower section of air filter housing.

Make sure that air duct hose is connected securely to Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70) (note the marking between air duct hose and Mass Air
Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70)).

Reconnect the connector on the Mass Air Flow (MAF) Sensor (G70).

Further installation is performed in reverse order.
